The Basketball League (TBL) is a new Men's professional basketball league dedicated to delivering a World Class Professional Basketball experience to the local community, our fans, and business partners.
TBL provides basketball players the opportunity to make a living playing the game they love in America with a focus on community and positively impacting lives through school visits and clinics that focus on more than just basketball.

Evelyn Magley CEO of The Basketball League announced a new market has been awarded to St. Louis, MO.
The new team will be called TRU STL and will be managed by Nathaniel Griffin.
"We have researched a couple of years to see what is the best model for our city and players. TBL is all about community engagement and helping players gain maximum exposure which is a big part of why we are doing this. St. Louis is a Basketball City, and it's time we expose our talents to the world! Wellston has always been a quality basketball community and a blueprint to breed athletes, so to be able to represent such a Historic Basketball Town is an honor! We have produced so many Champions and Championships over the last 30 years. TBL will be another showcase for us to display our Championship ways! This is about bringing the STL Basketball Community together in a positive way to support our athletes who may not get an NBA opportunity. These young men will be successful on and off the court while being the Leaders of our communities and the next generation of Leaders."

St. Louis is a key geographic fit to TBL expansion as it fits nicely with IL, KS, MO, All markets that their is strong interest in.
